There is certainly a lot to be excited about here at CACPCS. We’re thrilled to officially launch our middle school at our Prospect campus and elated to greet our K-4 scholars at our new building on Tuesday, October 10. As with any transition, there are often logistics that need to be worked out.
The Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) has informed us that they will need additional time to reassign bus routes for our K-4 scholars who will be attending school in our new building at 1232 Southern Boulevard. At this time, OPT is uncertain as to how long it will take to update these bus routes. Nonetheless, it’s always our priority to support you in any way we possibly can. With that said, CACPCS will open its doors at 7:20am for those families who need extra support during this time.
We hope to have updated bus routes in the coming days and will keep you updated on progress. As you know, bus assignments are at the sole discretion of OPT and are not guaranteed. The new bus routes will most likely look different from the former bus routes.
Please note that the bus routes for scholars in grades 5-6 will remain the same.
Although our scholars will not be in attendance on Friday, October 6th, we will be available to answer any questions you may have.
I hope that these temporary accommodations are helpful and can’t wait to see you all next week.
