Alex Jerez

Director of Operations, Children’s Aid College Prep Charter School

Alex Jerez serves as a critical member of the school's leadership team. In addition to managing the startup and ongoing operations for the charter school, his responsibilities include managing administrative staff and ensuring the implementation and maintenance of clear systems. He is also managing the various partnerships for the charter school with the NYC Department of Education and The Children’s Aid Society as well as ensuring that the school meets all of the reporting requirements as articulated by the Board of Trustees, SUNY and NYSED.

Mr. Jerez brings with him over five years of experience in commercial real estate, consulting and education. Most recently, he served as Director of Finance and Operations at an elementary charter school in the Bronx where he managed the schools finances, human resources and developed outreach and student recruitment initiatives. Mr. Jerez also worked at Hines Interests in real estate finance and property management.

Mr. Jerez received his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University with a concentration in Government and a minor in Economics.
